From 2001 to 2008 I have visited Southern Italy were I mainly was in the states Puglia, Campania and Calabria. As there are plenty pictures in, the estimated middle is the year 2003, therefore the travel impressions are assigned to the year 2003. Yes, here in the south resides the Mafia, during summer the mercury rises and very often lunatic people starting fires that destroy a lot. Beneath this you will find cultural aspects, nice and silent spots without mass tourism and lovely beaches. Just some highlights: Apulia (Alberobello the trulli city, Vieste, Peschici, Castel del Monte), Campania (Amalfi coast, Paestum with very good preserved greek temples) and Calabria (Tropea, Diamante, Ciro). Just enjoy the pictures and get on the way to do your booking for Southern Italy. |
