Three weeks Philippines from end of December to January 2016. Yes, I was surprised by the high prices, the very regular food (maybe the aftermath of Spanish and American colonial rule) and the horrible touristic infrastructure in the north. However; I soon eliminated these bad elements and enjoyed mainly four islands.
Luzon: Angeles, Vigan, and Manila.
Bohol: Chocolate Hills, Tarsier in wild life and pythons as necklace.
Boracay: lovely White Beach around Station 3 with highest relaxing factor.
Palawan: El Nido with beautiful beaches and island tours that give you some paradise on earth!.
