  Personal information:
I only saw Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, which is the maximum I could manage with a four-day stay. I really enjoyed Kuala Lumpur; it doesn't quite measure up to Bangkok (who does?), but it's miles ahead of Jakarta in Indonesia!

Malaysia is separated from Singapore by the Johor Strait, but since there are several bridges connecting the two countries, I consider Singapore a neighboring country of Malaysia.

There's a hop-on/hop-off bus, various malls, impressive skyscrapers, and the Petronas Twin Towers are a particular highlight.

My stay at the Sheraton Imperial was fantastic, and the breakfast buffet there is second to none!

I would visit Kuala Lumpur again without hesitation!
